The Golden Canopy Club

All summer long, Ruby, Marigold, and Sophie worked beneath the shade of an old oak, gathering boards, dreaming up plans, and building the treehouse they were certain would become the finest hideaway in the neighborhood.

At last, opening day arrived.

Their sunny yellow clubhouse stood proudly among the branches, surrounded by blooming flowers and decorated with bright balloons fluttering in the breeze. The sign read: The Golden Canopy Club.

As the girls admired their creation, one orange balloon slipped free and began drifting toward the clouds.

The three watched in silence.

“Maybe it’s carrying someone’s wish,” Ruby whispered.

“Or looking for another treehouse adventure,” Sophie said.

Marigold smiled. “Maybe it will find its way back when we need a little extra magic.”

With glasses of lemonade raised high, they settled into their new clubhouse, where summer felt endless and every breeze carried the promise of another story waiting to be told.
